Novastage Pharmaceuticals was invited to participate in the 3rd Exhibition of Improved New Drugs (Class II New Drugs) Achievements

On November 21, 2024, the 3rd Exhibition of Improved New Drugs (Class II New Drugs) Achievements was held in the conference room of Hall A4 of Wuhan International Expo Center. The conference is hosted by the Second Class New Drug Special Committee of the China Chemical Pharmaceutical Industry Association and the United Nations Drug Industry Exhibition.

Background of the meeting: With the increasing saturation of "simple" conventional technology preparation and fierce competition for generic drugs, improved new drugs are becoming one of the hot directions in current new drug research and development due to their high technological or patent barriers, long life cycles, and other advantages. It is also a feasible path for Chinese pharmaceutical companies to participate in international competition overseas. In recent years, the number of applications for improved new drugs has been increasing year by year, and the number of companies entering the market is also increasing. A group of outstanding representatives of improved new drug research and development enterprises have emerged, promoting China's innovative formulation technology to catch up and establishing innovative formulation platforms.

The conference invited more than 10 domestic innovative companies in the field of improved new drugs to showcase their technology and project achievements, while focusing on the registration and application of improved new drugs in China, market prospects, and investment opportunities. In depth exchanges and sharing of new drug achievement transformation cases were also conducted.
